Just came across your twitter. Absolutely tons of value! Absolutely love your inviting approach as it’s very similar to mine. Also I use the same app to track my dividends. I’m a better long term investor than trader but might start doing options since I’m in the discord.

This is an amazing article!! I have shifted my thinking to more long term investing instead of just day trading and I love the phrase "buy wealth." Thank you Minted!!

Hey Minted, thanks for sharing your thoughts on long term investing. Are you investing in a brokerage account or an IRA account, or both?

Thank you!

Thanks for your response. One more question, mutual fund vs etf, like VNQ. you prefer the etf because you can sell whenever you want? Vanguard also has VNQ as a mutual fund so just curious. Thank you!

Correct.

Hey Minted, so just to confirm you have most of your stock/etf investments in taxable brokerage accounts? Even the income holdings like JEPI?

Hi Minted thank you for your work! Wanted to ask if you could share more about your dividend portfolio on X. Or if you make an update article on Substack whether your stock list ever changes..

Thanks

Hey Minted, I really value your material. It has really shifted the way i invest for the long term. I am self employed and am trying to decide what accounts are best for me to invest in. Can you briefly explain why you only invest in taxable brokerages accounts instead of utilizing other tax deferred accounts? I know everyone is different but I would like to hear your perspective.

FXAIX or SCHD? I am trying to decide which of these to start my journey with(maybe both). VOO and VTI are way more expensive but maybe that doesn't matter(over time). Not asking for advice, just 2 friends having a conversation about investing stuff :)

Hey Minted. Another question when you have a second. When investing are you looking at price and when to enter, or you’re just buying and adding? Whether the etf, like VNQ, is up or down, you continue to buy and hold?

Thank you!

I buy small portions weekly or monthly. I don't look at the price if I'm buying & holding.
